Wall Applications
For solid walls, the sensor cable is simply placed on top of the wall (picture below). In the case of a metal covered wall, (2nd picture) the sensor cable is fixed on the inside surface with non-metalic stand-offs spaced from 1 to 2 meters apart. For a more discrete installation, the sensor cable could be embedded in the mortar.
Non metallic solid wall installation
ENCLOSURE™ requires the presence of a conductive body with a considerable volume (human size body) and is not affected by the presence of birds, leaves and snow etc. This eliminates the causes of nuisance alarms.
Metal covered wall installation
The stone-wall represents a big challenge for the installation of a security system. Unlike a wire mesh fence, an intrusion causes almost no acoustic shock waves, therefore, it is undetectable by today's acoustic systems. Also, the wall's rigidity facilitates defeating the wall by using ladders or ropes.
